JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • PT, OT, or SLP license 

JOB DUTIES 

  • Manage the day-to-day staffing/scheduling to maintain a high level of productivity
  • Ensure team members are adhering to policies/procedures and regulatory requirements while on site with documentation audits and observation
  • Support hospital/organization quality/safety/patient experience initiatives and connect them to the actions of our team
  • Orient new team members to acute rehab, outpatient therapy, geriatric psych, acute therapy in the units and ICU
  • Support and guide special program integration with the therapy team (ortho, CVA, patient experience, for example)
  • Identify leadership skills in team members to assist me with succession planning 
  • Lead team meetings on site in individual sub-departments and guide the team members to work cohesively with counterparts in the organization and across the market
  • Assist with correcting billing/coding account holds and action planning to prevent/reduce the holds
  • Receive on site contact re: priority treatments for acute care based on d/c planning needs to support hospital LOS goals
  • Support EMR training and documentation consistency across the team and across the market, working with WSMC and RFMC counterparts
