JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  2. Registered Nurse with current Illinois license
  3. Bachelors or Master's Degree in clinical area, computer science, informatics, information system or a related field
  4. "5" years of clinical, healthcare system implement and /or experience progressively responsible positions preferred.
  5. Experience in assisting with the implement of clinical and ancillary systems preferred.
  6. Experience with clinical process automation, standardization, and implementation preferred

JOB DUTIES

  1. Demonstrates the WMH Customer Service Values, which are key in providing quality service to patients and customers. 
  2. Evaluates and supports advance sin information technology.
  3. Assists with developing policies and procedures to support new workflow processes.
  4. Conducts and facilitate meetings and presentations effectively and professionally. 
  5. Develops curriculum
  6. Provides education.
  7. Supports development of expert user.
  8. Leads project activities and tasks focused on standards, implementation, and education of patient care processes, nomenclature, and tools.
  9. Assists with the analysis and documentation of current state workflow and future state workflow.
  10. Assists with defining user requirements in the design of the future state workflows to optimize the functionality of clinical applications.
  11. Works with hospital leadership and staff to manage, monitor and audit the future state.
  12. Participate in developing monitoring, and evaluation technology and decision support (barcode point of care, alerts, order, order sets, etc.) for continual improvement
