JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Activity Coordinator to join our team. The Activity Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing a variety of engaging activities and programs that promote community involvement, enhance social interaction, and provide a positive experience for participants. This role is essential for fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, ensuring that participants of all ages have access to enriching experiences.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in activity planning or event coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using software for planning and scheduling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse groups of people
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in coordinating activities or similar roles
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creativity and the ability to create engaging and varied activities
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Physical ability to participate in and facilitate activities
- Basic computer skills
Pay Rate $18 - $22 per hour
JOB DUTIES
- Plan and organize a variety of activities and events for different groups
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth execution of activities
- Create schedules and timelines for events and activities
- Manage budgets and resources for activities
- Develop promotional materials to advertise events
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and programs
- Communicate regularly with participants to gather feedback and improve activities
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations
- Maintain and update activity-related records and reports
- Identify and foster relationships with potential sponsors or partners
- Facilitate and lead group activities and workshops
