JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High School Graduate
  2. Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
  3. Proficient experience with the MS Office products (Word, Excel, outlook, PowerPoint, & Access)
  4. Two years working experience with products that are the same or similar to Resilience Health’s standard desktop devices (PCs, printers, scanners) software, and peripherals.    
  5. Some experience/knowledge with a networked environment.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work with users in a professional manner.
  7. Ability to work unsupervised from time to time. 
  8. Ability to do basic problem solving with PC’s, operating systems, printers, networking and Microsoft Office applications. 
  9. May require some supervision but can perform most activities with limited supervision.
  10. Demonstrates personal time/task management skills and able to prioritize problems.
  11. Position requires travel to other Resilience Health sites on a regular basis.  
  12. Excellent Organizational Skills and Planning
  13. Highly proficient in communication skills and customer service skills

JOB DUTIES

  1. Installs and de-installs all Resilience Health standard desktop hardware (standard PC, monitor, and related cabling).
  2. Installs and de-installs all Resilience Health standard software (operating system, office automation suite, virus protection software, and systems management software).
  3. Installs all Resilience Health standard peripherals (printers, scanners, handheld devices, etc…)
  4. Upgrades all existing Resilience Health standard hardware and software.
  5. Able to install and de-install most non-standard devices, software, or peripherals.
  6. Participates in the interviewing and selection process for new Desktop employees.
  7. Maintains responsibility for proper spare part and loaner inventory.
  8. Assists with the tracking of IT assets and licenses within the assigned facility and associated other sites.
  9. Assists users with the use of all Resilience Health standard desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  10. Sets up new users, working in conjunction with other parts of IS and the user community.  Coordinates (and does their part of the task) all aspects of setting up logons, granting access rights, completing paperwork, configuring and getting a new user set up on the Resilience Health computer systems.
  11. Assists with project related research, installations and upgrades. 
  12. Assists the I.S. applications support group with the installation of proprietary software when needed.
  13. Researches and resolves end user problems or issues, working with other parts of the IS organization and Resilience Health vendors.
  14. Creates and updates Support Center tracking software with problem status and resolutions per defined guidelines.
  15. Provides 2nd level support to the I.S. Help Desk operators and other I.S. staff.
  16. Replaces or repairs defective equipment and internal desktop related components.
  17. Performs preventive maintenance on computers, monitors, and printers.
  18. Attaches workstations, printers, and network enabled devices to network drops.
  19. Places service calls to vendors.
  20. Supports and maintains printers and scanners connected to facility computer systems.
  21. Works with staff to schedule and accomplish departmental moves of equipment.
  22. Helps maintain proper organization, labeling, and documentation within the facility wiring closets.
  23. Prepares and provides quotations for intradepartmental and interdepartmental purchase requests.
  24. Attends and participates in IS Meeting.
  25. Carries an active phone at all times during normal business hours and responds to emails and calls immediately.
  26. Shares in the on-call/call-back rotation covering evenings, nights and weekends.
  27. Interacts professionally and responsibly with the end user community, staff, and associated vendors.
  28. Remains current with knowledge of desktop technologies and seeks to improve their technical skill set.
